GameSpot scored it 7.3. The Guardian scored it 3 out of 5 at £29.99. HB Studios developed it and EA Canada is credited alongside the publisher on several pages. Only four teams shipped with broad real-player licences; other sides used limited or fictional lists.
EA did not publish a single sentence that says the series ended only because a licence expired. Later comments from EA staff, including Peter Moore in 2009 saying there was no cricket game to announce, point at cost and category priority as well. We do not collapse that into one cause.
Questions
Is Cricket 2007 the same game?
Yes. EA’s site uses Cricket 2007 for this 2006 release.
