Speaking of the game, Meerut locked horns with the Kashi Rudras in the UP T20 fixture. After winning the toss, courtesy of Madhav Kaushik’s blitzkrieg (87* off 52 balls), the Mavericks were able to put up a big score of 181/4 in on the board. In reply, despite having lost an early wicket, Kashi’s top-order batters in the form of Karan Sharma and Shivam Bansal set up a solid platform to almost pull off the thrilling run chase.
