Being in the USA, Dhoni was recently captured sitting in the stands, as he enjoyed the quarter-final of the ongoing US Open 2023. The 42-year-old was seen sitting behind Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz as he took on Alexander Zverev, looking to book his berth in the semi-final of the tournament.
Dhoni was seen sitting alongside his friends sharing a laugh alongside his friends as he enjoyed the thrilling US Open clash. In the clip, as the camera focuses on Alcaraz during the break, Dhoni was seen in the background in the stands.
It seems like MS Dhoni is on a break, ever since his retirement from international cricket, the 42-year-old has only featured in the Indian Premier League. He recently led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title in May 2023.
Fully adopting the role of the finisher, Dhoni played 12 innings in the IPL 2023 where he scored 104 runs at an average of 26. His undeniable knack of winning games just through his leadership and tactical decisions was one of the biggest reasons why Chenna was able to clinch the IPL 2023 title.
